We talked to the children about the meaning of 11/11 @11am. We talked about soldiers that didn’t make it home from conflict and it was heartfelt to hear the children say that it made them feel sad. We told them that Poppies were a sign of remembering them and we made our own Poppy Wreaths to take home. At 11am the children were so good and stood in silence for 2 whole minutes, we are so very proud of them. We also watched the NSPCC short video about it. The children were concerned for the rabbit and knew something was happening. A couple of the children told us they had watched a service on tv.
